3 UAPG Faculty were Selected to Lead Research Working Groups

Three UAPG faculty members—Kiesha Walters, Qinghua Li, and Chris Farnell—have been selected to lead and contribute to Research Working Groups awarded by the College of Engineering. These working groups focus on emerging research areas with strong potential for growth and impact. 

Qinghua Li and Chris Farnell will lead the Cybersecurity Research Working Group, where they will execute innovative research projects, develop cybersecurity resources, and advance the university’s expertise in this critical area. 

Kiesha Walters will co-lead Arkansas MATTERs (Materials & Transportation Technology for Economic Resilience), a working group focused on researching advanced engineering and manufacturing materials for applications in transportation and logistics. This effort aims to strengthen economic resilience through innovation in materials and transportation technologies.
